Brisbane battery installation
Solar battery installation in Brisbane, planned around your home.
Our Coopers Plains team checks evening consumption, existing equipment, switchboard, battery location and backup priorities before the system reaches install day.
Before the proposal
Three checks prevent most expensive surprises.
Energy use
Your quarterly bill is a starting point. Evening and overnight usage, solar export and large loads tell us whether more capacity will be useful or simply sit unused.
Existing equipment
We identify the current solar inverter, phase, PV arrangement and metering. That determines whether the sensible path is an add-on battery, a hybrid inverter change or a broader system redesign.
Site and backup
The switchboard, cable path, battery position and the circuits wanted during an outage affect equipment, labour and the final scope. Unknown site work should not be hidden inside a headline price.
Installation pathway
From first assessment to handover.
1 · Assess
Review usage, tariff, solar, inverter, phase, switchboard and the preferred battery location.
2 · Design
Confirm the energy path, battery and inverter family, capacity, backup circuits and written inclusions.
3 · Install
An accredited installation team completes the electrical work, commissioning and required site labels.
4 · Support
App handover, applicable grid paperwork and warranty registration are completed through the project workflow.
Start a Brisbane installation assessment.
Use your suburb and recent bill for a preliminary result. If you already have solar, the team will then confirm the inverter model and site evidence needed.
Installation questions
What homeowners ask before booking.
What information is needed before a Brisbane battery quote?
A recent electricity bill, your suburb, the model of any existing solar inverter, whether the property is single or three-phase, and what you want powered during an outage. Switchboard and installation-location photos help turn an estimate into a site-specific proposal.
Can a battery be installed outside?
Sometimes, but the exact location depends on the battery installation instructions, the property layout and current electrical and fire-safety requirements. Doors, windows, exits, access, weather exposure and clearances all need a site-specific check.
Does a battery installation include blackout backup?
Only when backup is designed and included in the scope. The installer must identify the circuits, switching equipment and power limits. A large battery capacity does not by itself mean every circuit can run during an outage.
Who handles the grid and rebate paperwork?
SUNNY Energy checks the current project requirements and handles the applicable Energex, rebate and warranty workflow as part of the agreed installation scope.
